Biography

Heidi joined Hertz Farm Management in October of 2023 as a Farm Manager in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Prior to joining Hertz, she worked for Lee Agency as a Farm Account Manager and Corteva as a Seed Quality Testing Specialist. 

She graduated from Iowa State University in May 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Agronomy. She was active in Sigma Alpha, which is a professional sorority for women in agriculture. Her internships included cooperative operations, agronomy sales and agricultural technology. 

Heidi grew up on a small acreage in Eastern Iowa where she spent the majority of her time raising, training and showing Paint and Pinto performance horses. She purchased the acreage she grew up on from her father in January 2023 with her husband, Nathan. They enjoy spending time together in the horse barn along with spending time with family and friends. Heidi is a member of the Alumni chapter of Sigma Alpha and enjoys being able to mentor other women passionate about agriculture.
