Hertz Farm Management is proud to announce that Carrie Seidel, AFM, CCA, has received the 2026 Early Career Award from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers® (ASFMRA®).
Sponsored by Valley Irrigation, the national award recognizes an outstanding early-career professional who has made significant contributions to their local ASFMRA chapter, the national organization, and their community during their first 10 years of membership.
Seidel joined Hertz Farm Management in 2018 as a professional farm manager in the company's Mason City, Iowa, office. Raised on a dairy farm in Northeast Iowa, she developed an early connection to agriculture that continues to shape her professional career.
A graduate of Iowa State University, Seidel is an Accredited Farm Manager (AFM), Certified Crop Adviser (CCA), and licensed real estate agent. Through her work at Hertz, she helps farmland owners make informed decisions about their agricultural assets while emphasizing long-term stewardship and strong client relationships.
Seidel has also been recognized with the Iowa Chapter ASFMRA Early Career Award, further demonstrating her involvement and contributions to the profession.

Seidel received the award during ASFMRA's 2026 Awards and Accreditation Ceremony at The Wigwam in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
