ASFMRA recognizes Hertz for his contributions to advancing professional education in farm management.

Hertz Farm Management is proud to announce that CEO Chad Hertz, AFM, has received the 2026 H.E. "Buck" Stalcup Excellence in Education Award in the Management Education category from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural® Appraisers (ASFMRA®).

The national award recognizes individuals who have dedicated their knowledge, expertise, and time to advancing ASFMRA's educational offerings and strengthening professional development within the industry.

Hertz was recognized alongside Danielle Celaya, AFM, of Manulife Investment Management, and Dennis Reyman, AFM, ARA, of Stalcup Agri Service, Inc., for their collaborative development of ASFMRA's Financial Literacy seminar.

Designed to strengthen financial knowledge among rural property professionals, the seminar was taught for the first time by the three award recipients in fall 2026.

As CEO of Hertz Farm Management, Hertz leads a company with an 80-year history of serving farmland owners throughout the Midwest. His professional experience includes farm management, agricultural technology, conservation, and farmland stewardship.

Hertz began his career with the company in 2001 and has remained actively involved in advancing the farm management profession, including serving as a past president of the Iowa Chapter of ASFMRA.

“Chad has always believed that sharing knowledge and investing in professional development makes our entire industry stronger. His commitment to education extends beyond our organization, and this recognition reflects the time and effort he has dedicated to helping other professionals grow and succeed.” - Jeff Troendle, President of Hertz Farm Management

The H.E. "Buck" Stalcup Excellence in Education Award recognizes the contributions of individuals whose commitment to education helps maintain and advance professional standards throughout the agricultural industry.

Hertz received the honor during ASFMRA's 2026 Awards and Accreditation Ceremony at The Wigwam in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
