Gunnar Wuebben,
Farm Manager

Gunnar joined Hertz Farm Management in January 2025 as a Professional Farm Manager in the Geneseo, IL office. In this role, he manages farms and evaluates markets for landowners in Northern Illinois.
Gunnar graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2024 with a B.S. in Agriculture and Consumer Economics. During his time at Illinois, he was actively involved in various clubs, was a national champion soil judger, studied abroad in Brazil, competed as an AA Collegiate Trap and Skeet Shooter, and lived at Nabor House. Throughout his life he worked on his grandfather's farm, where he developed his passion for agriculture and the outdoors. In addition to farming, Gunnar worked as a part-time student engineer at John Deere Harvester for two years. He also spent his final year of college focusing on crop insurance and carbon intensity scoring for Ag Perspective.
Jerson Kopka,
Appraisal Trainee

Jerson joined Hertz Farm Management in June 2025 as an Appraisal Trainee in the Mankato, Minnesota Office.
Jerson graduated from South Dakota State University in the spring of 2025 with a degree in Agricultural Business and a minor in Rural Real Estate and Land Valuation. During his time at SDSU, he served as President of the Block and Bridle Club and was actively involved in Collegiate Farm Bureau, Little International, and Agriculture Future of America. Jerson further developed his interest in Appraisal as an Evaluation Services Intern with American AgCredit in Turlock, CA.
Jerson’s passion for agriculture was shaped by his upbringing on his family’s crop farm and his early involvement in the livestock industry. He grew up exhibiting market lambs across the country, competing at both state and national levels. Over the years, he has worked for several respected livestock breeders throughout the Midwest, gaining valuable experience in livestock management, sales, and small-ruminant reproduction.
Jenna Blessing,
Appraisal Trainee

Jenna joined Hertz Farm Management in June of 2025 as an appraisal trainee in the Geneseo, Il office.
Raised on her family’s century row crop and cattle farm in northeast Missouri. Jenna also grew up competitively showing registered ABGA Boer goats. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Agriculture, a minor in International Agricultural Business, and a certification in Sales and Customer Development.
Throughout college, Jenna worked at the Mizzou Meat Lab, where she gained hands-on experience in meat processing, customer service, and business operations. She was also actively involved in collegiate meat judging and livestock judging teams.
