Troy Louwagie, ALC, Recognized as an RLI APEX 2026 Top Twenty National Producer and Region 7 Broker

March 27, 2026 (Nevada, IA) – Hertz Farm Management is proud to announce Troy Louwagie, ALC, in Mt. Vernon, IA has been recognized as an APEX 2025 Top Twenty National Producer by the REALTORS® Land Institute as a part of the RLI APEX Production Awards Program, sponsored by The Land Report. Louwagie also received the Region 7 Broker of the Year award in Ag Land Sales Crops. He was recognized by RLI CEO Aubrie Kobernus, MBA, RCE, as well as The Land Report’s Co-founders Eddie Lee Rider Jr. and Eric O’Keefe at a special awards ceremony on Monday, March 16, during RLI’s 2026 National Land Conference (NLC26) in San Antonio. This year marked the 20th Anniversary of the National Land Conference.

“I'm grateful to be recognized among this year's APEX Awards recipients,” said Louwagie upon receiving the recognition.
He has been with Hertz Farm Management and Real Estate Services since November 1999 and brings decades of agricultural and real estate experience to his role. An active member of both the Iowa and National Association of REALTORS®, as well as the Iowa and National REALTORS® Land Institute, Louwagie also served as State President of the Iowa RLI Chapter from 2005 to 2006. Prior to joining Hertz, he spent nearly six years as an Agricultural Loan Officer at Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank in Manchester, Iowa. Raised on a livestock farm in northwest Iowa, Louwagie has a lifelong connection to agriculture, earning his Iowa FFA Degree and participating actively in 4-H during his youth.

The APEX Awards Program celebrated its ninth year by welcoming 299 applicants totaling a combined $9.29+ billion in qualifying transaction volume, 11,292 transaction sides, and over 2.3 million acres sold. All land professionals recognized as part of the RLI APEX Awards Program are active members of RLI.
The 2025 APEX Top Twenty Award winners were ranked within the top twenty applicants by qualifying production volume, starting at around $77M in production volume.
