Specific Job Duties:

  • Professionally greet and assist clients, vendors, and tenants in person and by phone.
  • Create high quality correspondence and reports based off provided materials from professional field staff.
  • Maintain documents, both electronically and physically, related to real estate, insurance, expense details, governmental filings, and general agriculture information.
  • Coordinate client visits, meetings, conferences, and seminars.
  • Assist in creating marketing and presentation materials.
  • Expense and income processing.

Candidates should be a sophomore or junior majoring in an Agriculture related discipline with above average academic performance, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and an interest in the career field of Professional Farm Management.

The internship focuses on learning the skills and responsibilities of a Professional Farm Manager. A Professional Farm Manager represents individuals, families, and entities that own farmland but do not farm themselves. They help Farmland Owners make confident and informed decisions so they can achieve their ownership goals, financially, emotionally, and relationally.

The individuals selected will get the opportunity to learn about each of our client service divisions: Farm Management, Real Estate, and Appraisal by interacting with our knowledgeable staff and visiting several of our offices.

 

 Internship Details
