Biography

Trace joined Hertz Farm Management in June of 2023 as a farm manager and licensed real estate salesperson in the Cedar Falls, Iowa office. 

Trace graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy. During his time at Iowa State University, he was actively involved in the Iowa Corn Growers Association Club, Soil and Water Conservation, Iowa Pheasants and Quail Forever, and the Iowa Chapter for American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). Trace continues to be involved with the Iowa Corn Growers Association, Iowa Pheasants Forever, and the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA).”

Trace found a passion for agriculture at an early age helping with his family’s logging company, as a farmhand for beef and dairy operations, and working as a Soil Conservationist.

In his spare time Trace enjoys the outdoors, as well as serving his local community and church.
