Biography

Elizabeth joined Hertz Farm Management in May, 2016. She grew-up on a farm in rural Toulon, Illinois, located 45 minutes south of Geneseo. Her farm consists of corn, soybeans and cattle. Elizabeth was involved in 4-H and FFA. Additionally, she competed in livestock judging at the county level and showed cattle at the state and national level. 

Elizabeth attended Black Hawk College where she received her Associates of Science Degree in 2014 and then continued her education at Iowa State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and Agronomy in 2016. While at both institutions Elizabeth was involved in various organizations such as Agricultural Business Club and collegiate livestock judging teams. She also completed several internships that enhanced her knowledge in agronomy.
